My recent K-pop obsession: E. Via

She's a kpop rapper and has these amazing fast rapping sprints in the middle her songs. She reminds me of Lady Sovereign in rhyme scheme and subject matter, who I also love. X3 She just came out with a new mini album X3

DANCE BATTLE!

Dance Battle, the korean competition show that pits the pop groups together for some awesome dancing X3 This is SNSD vs After School battling it out to American hip hop!

K-pop Time!!!!!!!

Ok, I'm going to go fast through this one. 4 groups at the same time! SNSD (Girl's Generation), BoA, 2pm, and the rest I shall continue to list my various discoveries of Asian music! All Korean groups know how to dance incredibly well O_O Watch the videos and you will know! Also, K-pop has different attitude than J-pop music and they are mostly dance tempo (as far as the ones they put as videos). J-pop does more ballads.

4: M-Flo!

M-flo is made up of two guys that both rap and produce their own music. They love to do albums paired with famous female artists. They usually call the albums M-flo loves (whoever it is). They have done some with Bonnie Pink, Chara, Luvotomy, Lisa, Ryohei, Utada, the list is long and continues. They have a house music tempo and sound, which means its upbeat and uses voices with character. I like that :D

3: Utada Hikaru

I don't really listen to Utada that much but she is very popular in America of course for her Kingdom Heart songs "Simple and Clean" and "My Sanctuary". Her voice is beautiful, I'm just not into ballads and stuff.

2: Ayumi Hamasaki :D

I like Ayumi mostly for her trance remix albums not for her normal songs, however other people may like it so I added her new single "Moon" at the bottom here for a look at how she normally sounds. I just think she has a great trance voice and apparently she does too because she's done at least three trance remix albums and has a remix for almost all of her songs. She was born a year after Namie and has been in the entertainment business almost as long as Namie too. Ooh her birthday is in October like me :D

J-pop First! : Namie Amuro

Namie Amuro is basically the Madonna of Japan AND Korea as my Korean born (SAIC) roommate said to me a year back. Don't let her looks fool you, she is the same age a Madonna O_O. She's been in the spotlight since 13! She's a complete beast! Her newest album is one of her greatest hits: Best Fiction.  These two songs are some of my favorites by her. :3
